Biography

Lute Atieh is an entrepreneur, aviation executive, and educator based in St. Joseph, Missouri. He is the CEO & Managing Partner of ATD Flight Systems, Founder of Annovox, and Founder of FlyTech Pilot Academy. A private pilot and aircraft owner, his career spans workforce development, training development, higher education, and go-to-market execution, united by a consistent focus on building practical systems that translate complex knowledge into repeatable results.

Lute Atieh is an entrepreneur, aviation executive, and educator based in St. Joseph, Missouri. He currently serves as CEO & Managing Partner of ATD Flight Systems, directing operations and strategy for an aviation enterprise with more than 50 employees. He is also the Founder of Annovox, a technology venture he launched in March 2026, and the Founder of FlyTech Pilot Academy, founded in 2024. A private pilot and aircraft owner, Lute brings direct operational experience to his aviation leadership roles.

Before his current ventures, Lute founded Valor Manufacturing Training in 2016, building structured workforce training infrastructure for the manufacturing sector. Valor was acquired by BERKS Group in 2019; under BERKS, Valor acquired 180 Skills in 2021, and the two were combined to form WorkForge in 2022. Lute served as CEO of Valor through that formation and continued with WorkForge as a founder until exiting in July 2024. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years at American Business and Technology University (ABTU), advancing from Admissions to Director of Operations and ultimately Vice President before exiting in 2016. He holds an MBA in International Business from Bryan University (2017–2018).

As a private pilot and aircraft owner, his aviation leadership is grounded in firsthand operational knowledge, a characteristic that defines his broader approach to business.

Prior to his current roles, Lute built and exited multiple successful businesses. He founded Valor Manufacturing Training in 2016 to systematize workforce training for industrial clients, preserving frontline knowledge and converting it into structured, repeatable learning systems. Valor was acquired by BERKS Group in 2019, and under BERKS, Valor subsequently acquired 180 Skills in 2021. In 2022, the two companies were combined to form WorkForge. Lute led Valor as CEO through that evolution and continued with WorkForge as a founder until exiting in July 2024.

Before that chapter, Lute spent eight years at American Business and Technology University (ABTU), advancing through progressively senior roles, from Admissions to Director of Operations and ultimately Vice President, before exiting in 2016. This early experience in higher education administration, combined with his subsequent work in manufacturing training and technology go-to-market execution, gave him a broad and deliberately diverse operational foundation.

His professional background spans higher education administration, information systems, manufacturing workforce development, direct sales, and technology go-to-market execution. This range is not incidental; it reflects a career built around translating complex systems and processes into clear, usable frameworks for the people executing them. Whether in a cockpit, a classroom, or a boardroom, the operational philosophy remains consistent: identify what experts actually know, structure it, and build organizations capable of delivering it repeatedly. Lute has also personally flown more than 250 young people through the EAA Young Eagles program, reflecting a commitment to expanding access to aviation for the next generation.

Lute holds an MBA in International Business from Bryan University (2017–2018). He is actively involved in the St. Joseph community as a board member of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, Co-chair of the Aerial Events Committee behind the St. Joseph air show, and Co-chair of Launch Pad, St. Joseph's community startup hub, where he mentors new founders.
