Serving as a member trustee on the Board of Trustees of the PMA Educational Foundation, the charitable arm of the Precision Metalforming Association, supporting workforce development and education for careers in metalforming and manufacturing.

Aerial Events Committee (St. Joseph Air Show)

Co-chair

Co-chairing the Aerial Events Committee alongside Rosecrans Memorial Airport Manager Julius Rice. The committee operates in partnership with the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri to support aviation-focused community events at Rosecrans, including the St. Joseph air show, along with educational outreach and STEM engagement.

Launch Pad

Co-chair

Co-chair of Launch Pad, St. Joseph's community startup hub. Helped launch the initiative and remains actively involved in mentoring new founders, bringing firsthand entrepreneurial experience to early-stage ventures building their foundations.

Lute has also participated in aviation outreach through the EAA Young Eagles program, personally flying more than 250 young people in introductory flights, an activity that reflects a broader commitment to expanding access to aviation for the next generation.
